When they first started the premium name shop. (Not to mention they got rid of credit resellers who made the prices fair.) So in general. The prices for everything on IMVU in CAD is too much. If I could make changes to the premium name shop, I would discontinue it, or at least make the prices reasonable & I don't think they should put names a user made themselves in there, especially since so many names are already taken. Slightly disappointed, but not surprised. So someone made that account with a 5 letter name, for free, then when you ask for it, even if you paid for a name change token, they put it in premium names for $120. It's almost like a trap, to ask you to suggest 5 names you want, just so they can put it in premium names because someone showed interest in it.
It's also known that if you contact support to take over someones name, if it's 5 letters, they put it into the premium name shop. £10-£20 would be more reasonable, but even that is pushing it, really. I'm not sure why anyone would pay $120 ( 150k credits - 5 letter name), & $200 ( 300k credits - 2 & 3 letter name) for a name that doesn't even have any benefits other than a false sense of grandeur. I personally think most of them are just a random assortment of letters & numbers. No hate to anyone who bought one, I'm just interested in everyone's views about it, even if they differ. ✦ What changes would you make to premium name shop? ✦ What do you think about the names they have to offer?
